NIKO RAUL S. DAZA (Northern Samar, 1st District) graduated from the Loyola Marymount University with a BS in Accounting degree. He is currently pursuing MS in Financial Technology at the Asian Institute of Management.

A dutiful son and a third-generation legislator, he looks up to his parents, Paul R. Daza, the previous Congress’ Senior Deputy Minority Leader, and Gigi San Jose Daza, an accomplished entrepreneur —and grandfather, former Deputy Speaker Raul A. Daza, as his inspiration and mentors.

Prior to his first stint as a legislator, he served as Director of Rykom Finance Corporation and led in the delivery of innovative financing solutions. Prior to this assignment, he served as Campaign Finance Officer for the Congressional Office of the 1st District of Northern Samar, gaining exposure in local development while strengthening his skills in designing accounting information systems, budgeting and fiscal analysis.



He also worked with SGV & Co as a Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) Senior Associate where he collaborated with a team in preparing over 350+ financial statements and provided audit support services in wealth and asset management.

While in the US, he served as Senior Editor & NBA Contributor in SB Nation, the world’s largest independent sports media brand, where he covered Los Angeles Lakers’ basketball games. Prior to this, he became a Digital Marketer and Copywriter in Daza Design where he created high-impact content for clients in the financial, law, and real estate industries.

For the 20th Congress, Niko focuses on helping elevate the quality of health services in the Philippines, empower the youth through the improvement of access to tertiary education, push for reforms in the national budget process, and ensure a more sustainable and resilient future through more strategic interventions in the environment, social, and economic sectors.
